LIVING LINES, ONGOING

Photography is traditionally known for transforming movement into a stillnes. Projecting the outside world onto film. However, what draws me to photography is it’s ability to outwardly project our inner worlds into the world. Presenting us with views of our surroudings that are at once vital, shocking and intimate.

Occupying a space somewhere between life and death, inertia and tranquility these photographs exist as tracings of a movements. Moments in time that present the woods where I have grown up in a new light. Embodying my wish to create images that allow me to look again and hopefully grasp the true essence of what stands before me.
