IVO PITTS
Having lived with a covert stammer for much of my life expressing myself through words is not always straighforward, clear or entirely representative of what I am truly thinking. As a result I have found myself drawn towards photography, installation and film as a way of outwardly projecting the experiences and feelings I often find difficult to express through words. Each project embodies my desire to reconnect with the elements of my surroundings and understand how the often overlooked mechanics of everyday interactions between the body, mind and space come together to shape who we are in a world that offers us so little to hold onto.
